UDK IDE’s

Because nFringe needs a commercial license, I can’t use it.  I’m not going to use WOTgreal either because I’m not going to pay for it.  So I’ve set up Notepad++ to recognize UnrealScript and now I’m going to code with that.  There is also another thing I need to do so I can see the class hierarchy.

  1. A plugin for UDK in eclipse:
    http://sourceforge.net/p/udkeclipse/home/Home/

Supports syntax highlighting, code completion, goto declaration and basic project management. Completely free for all uses.

It’s still an early release so they might be issues with it.

    • That’s a great find! Thanks a lot!
It looks really promising and I think I will give it a shot sometime. From the looks of it, it definitely beats using Notepad++
